Claudia Brookes is a freelance photographer and artist based in London, UK. Originally from Surrey, Claudia started her career assisting at various studios. These included The Times, Tim Flach Photography, fashion156.com, Ted Baker, Famous UK, The School of Life, Marmalade Magazine, London Fashion Week, Graduate Fashion week, Elle4Lisa, Sublime magazine, and Next Directory Studios before joining the University for the Creative Arts as a Photographic and Digital Imaging Technician.

A passion for photography persisted and Claudia decided to pursue work as a freelance photographer to coincide with her work as an artist. Her work mainly concerns the environment and man’s physical and emotional relationship with it. She has a passion for the sea and open spaces and a sublime perspective of the world can often be seen.

Claudia Brookes graduated from the internationally renowned school of photography at The Arts Institute at Bournemouth. She studied conceptual photography which was critically underpinned by 20th century art history. Since graduating she has exhibited in and around the UK, including exhibitions in London on Brick Lane and at Lancaster Gate Tube station, as well as in Coventry, Liverpool, and Farnham. Claudia also writes articles about photography for website Videojug Pages and was nominated as ‘photographer of the month’ on photography website Network Student Photographers.
